German Dictation – A1/A2 – At the doctors

In this dictation you learn something about vistiting a doctor in Germany and you will improve your listening comprehension and your writing skills.

Explanation:

• I will read the whole text.
• I will repeat the first sentence and dictate everything word by word.
• You listen carefully and write down the text on your computer or a piece of paper.
• When I finished the sentence it will show up in the video. Click pause and check it immediately or wait till the end and check it all together.
• If you want to listen to the sentence again, simply go back in the video.
• Under the video and in it´s description you will find the complete text, so that you can check if you wrote everything correct.

Patient: Guten Tag! Herr Doktor!
Doktor: Guten Tag! Was fehlt Ihnen?
Patient: Ich fühle mich nicht wohl. Mein Kopf tut mir weh und ich habe Schnupfen.
Doktor: Sie sehen nicht gut aus. Sie haben vielleicht Grippe. Ist Ihnen auch kalt und haben Sie Husten?
Patient: Ja, mir ist oft kalt. Husten habe ich keinen. Aber ich habe auch leichte Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall.
Doktor: Ok. Sie haben wahrscheinlich Fieber. Trinken Sie viel Tee und Wasser. Ich gebe ihnen auch ein Rezept. Nehmen Sie die Tabletten dreimal am Tag. Wenn es in 3 Tagen noch nicht besser ist, kommen Sie nochmal zu mir.
Patient: Danke, Herr Doktor. Kann ich trotzdem auf Arbeit gehen?
Doktor: Nein! Ich schreibe Sie für den Rest der Woche krank. Sie müssen sich ausruhen und im Bett bleiben.
Patient: Ich verstehe. Vielen Dank!
Doktor: Gute Besserung!
