Words for bathroom in general.

• das Bad / das Badezimmer (describes always a „full“ bathroom with toilet, shower/bathtube and sink – it isn´t used for public toilets)
• die Toilette / das Klo / das WC (describes a room with only a sink and the pot to sit on  – Is used for public toilets but „das Klo“ is very informal)
• das stille Örtchen (the quiet place – a common phrase to refer to the toilet in spoken language)
• Dixi – Klo (= portable toilet that is used on concerts and festivals)
• Other INFORAMAL words for toilet that will make you sile (with a word by word translation if possible):
  • der Donnerbalken (thunder beam)
  • die Hütte (shack / hut)
  • der Kackstuhl (poop chair)
  • der Lokus (maybe „loo“ )
  • der Topf (the pot)
  • das Scheißhaus (poop / shitting house)
